Setting Up
Assembling the Wheels
1）Axle Installation: Insert the wheel axle through the holes on the right and left frame legs.
2）Wheel Attachment: Place a washer and wheel bushing onto each end of the axle, followed by the wheels.
3）Secure Wheels: Secure the wheels using the provided nuts and snap the hub caps into place.
Installing the Frame
1） Attach Frame: Align the assembled frame with the motor housing.
2）Secure: Insert the bolts through the frame and housing, then tighten them securely using the provided nuts.
Preparing for Operation
1）Collection Bag: Hang the collection bag on the hooks located on the bottom of the discharge chute.
2）Paddle Tool: Ensure the push paddle is placed in its storage holder on the side of the unit for feeding material safely.
3）Cord Retainer: Thread the extension cord through the cord retainer to prevent accidental disconnection during use.
Maintenance
Your LawnMaster Chipper FD1503 blades need to be regularly checked, cleaned, and reversed or replaced to maintain optimal shredding performance. If the blades become dull, chipped, or damaged, they must be serviced to prevent motor strain and ensure safe operation. It is quick and easy to do. Always ensure the chipper is disconnected from the power supply and wear heavy-duty gloves and eye protection before performing any maintenance on the cutting blades.
