TE1216M
Learn how to set up and use your electric tiller with instruction manuals, user guides, and FAQs.
1)Unpacking: Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
2)Assembling the wheel: Remove the pre-assembled R pin and the washer from the axle of the tiller. Place the wheel on the wheel holder. Secure it with the washer and R pin. Then mount the wheel cap. The assembly is identical for both sides.
3)Assembling the handles: Connect the middle handles and the upper handle to the lower handle using the carriage bolts and wing nuts.
4)Fixing the power cord: Mount the cable and the cable clips on the right handlebar (in the working direction) by pushing them on.
WARNING: Do not connect the power supply until assembly is complete. Failure to comply could result in accidental starting and possible serious personal injury. Never operate the tool without the proper safety devices in place and working. Never operate the tool with damaged safety devices. Failure to heed this warning can result in serious personal injury.
General Care
1) Safety First: Always switch off the tool and disconnect it from the power supply before any maintenance. Wear gloves when handling the tiller.
2)Inspection: Check the extension cord and fastening elements (screws/nuts) before each use. Replace any damaged cables or worn cutting units immediately.
3) Lubrication: Periodically clean and oil screw-fastened parts (wheels/axles) to extend the tool's life.
4)Transmission: Check transmission oil regularly. If needed, refill with high-quality SAE 30 oil via the drain screw plug until it seeps out.
Cleaning
1)No Water: Do not clean the tool under flowing water or spray it. This prevents electric shock and motor damage.
2)Regular Cleaning: Wipe the housing and air vents with a moist cloth and mild soap after each use. Avoid solvents that could damage plastic parts.
3)Debris Removal: Ensure air vents are kept free of dirt and dust to prevent overheating.
Tine Maintenance
1)Check Tines: Inspect tines before each use. Sharpen or replace them if they are worn or damaged.
2)Replacement: To remove tines, unscrew the M8 locking nut and bolt from the shaft. Reverse the steps to install new tines, ensuring holes are aligned.
Storage
1)Environment: Store in a dry, frost-proof place (optimal: 5°C–30°C) out of reach of children.
2)Winterizing: For long-term storage, clean all residue and wipe metal surfaces with an oil-impregnated cloth to prevent corrosion.
3)Space Saving: Release the wing nuts to fold the handles for compact storage.

A tiller is a useful tool for any lawn. It can be used for breaking sod, preparing seed beds, and for cultivating gardens and flower beds. A tiller can also dig small holes for planting saplings or potted plants.
Only a phillips head screwdriver is needed to assemble the tiller.
